How Do I Start an NSA Club?

If you are a current member of the National SCRABBLE® Association (if not, find out how to join) you may become an official Director and start an official National SCRABBLE® Association Club in your area. Please send a check or money order for $20 to:

You'll receive the Director's Manual, the Manual Test, the Official SCRABBLE® Brand Tournament Rules and the Rules Test.

You can also purchase both the membership and the director's kit online through the NSA Word Gear catalog.

Who has been a Director of the Year?

Each year since 1989, the NSA has honored one of its Directors with its Director of the Year award. In 1998, it was renamed in memory of the late Mike Wise as the Michael Wise NSA Director of the Year award.
