From time to time, we hear about SCRABBLE®-related promotions that may be of interest to our members. Whenever we do, we'll post them here.
Toys R Us (at www.toysrus.com) has a "buy one game get a second game free, plus free shipping" limited-time offer that began sometime in March 2005. To use it, look for Deluxe Scrabble in their catalogue, click where it says "second one for free", click the box next to the second copy of Deluxe Scrabble, write down the corresponding promotional code, continue with your order and enter the promotional code when you're later asked for it.
Now, what should you do with that second free set? Why not donate it to the School SCRABBLE Club at an elementary school near you, to help support them on the road to the National School SCRABBLE® Championship next April? If you'd like to do so, please contact School SCRABBLE Program Director Cindy McCaffery at email@example.com and she'll put you in touch with the school nearest you.
HASBRO is the owner of the registered SCRABBLE® trademark in the United States and Canada. © 2011 HASBRO. All rights reserved. "SCRABBLE® Brand Crossword Game" is the proper way to refer to this unique group of word games and related properties marketed by HASBRO. "SCRABBLE®" is not a generic term. To use it as such is not only misleading but also does injustice to the company responsible for the trademark's longtime popularity. All we ask is that when you mean SCRABBLE® Brand Crossword Game, you say so.
The SCRABBLE® trademark is owned by J.W. Spear and Sons, PLC, a subsidiary of Mattel, Inc. outside of the United States and Canada.
