Top Ratings by State and Province
This list was automatically generated at 2009-02-09 11:21:55 from the
NSA Ratings Database
and the
NSA Player Database.
It was inspired in April 2004 by CGP postings from
Ed Liebfried, Jeff Clark, Rich Baker and many others.
Corrections to these databases should be sent respectively
to Joe Edley (ratings) and John Chew (players).
Photographs can be submitted through the Player Database.
For each state or province that has at least one active rated player,
up to 10 top players are listed by current rating.
Active players are those who have played in at least 28 fully-rated
tournament games in the past 24 ratings months.
States and provinces are listed according to the average rating of their
top ten players.
Areas with fewer than ten active players listed are assumed to have additional
players rated 500 for the purposes of computing their average.
Students may be listed representing either their home state/province or the
state/province in which they are studying, whichever they prefer.
Others must be legal residents of the area that they would like to represent.
