The top two finalists of the first twenty-four rounds, Joel Wapnick of Canada and Mark Nyman of the U.K., played a best-of-five match beginning at 9 A.M local time (5 P.M. Saturday EST). Wapnick won games 1, 3 and 4 to become the new World Champion.
