Effective the beginning of October 2008, cross-tables showing both the traditional player ratings and samples of the new (“logistic”) rating system will be posted on this web site. These revised cross-tables are being more extensively hand-checked for the time being, so they will appear with some delay after the traditional ones. The new data will be available online in more easily machine-readable form in December 2008.
On January 7th, 2009, the new rating system will be restarted using current data from the old rating system, and the old rating system will be discontinued.
